BLESSED!
NINA UPDATE
Nina was released from hospital this past Friday and happily returned to her granddaughter-filled apartment for a celebration. While she is home, she is not yet healed. Nina is on heavy (and very expensive) medication and is waiting to hear from her cardiologist about the need for surgery. Nina was told that coronarography will be needed in order to restore her to health. This Thursday she will find out more about the procedure and when she can expect to have the operation. In the meantime she rests at home–more comfortably, but still in a great deal of pain. Please keep her in your prayers!Thank you for your support and prayers for our family.

COMING TO CANADA
We had been wondering why there had been so many delays in our move to Canada...perhaps now we know one of the reasons: As my mom pointed out the other day, God knew that Nina would need us here this summer!
Please remember in prayer the visa process at the Canadian Embassy in Moscow!
BLESSINGS
Answered prayer from previous weeks! Praise God that Nina has returned home.
Last Thursday Sonia celebrated the "Last Bell", the official end-of-year ceremony at school. While graduation is still a few weeks away, it was a great feeling to be able to hear that last bell!!!
PETITIONS
Please continue to pray for the Christian Camp Leaders' Conference in Vladivostok, underway until Wednesday (May 31).
Sonia received a 92 on her English exam and is studying for her Russian exam at this moment. Please pray for her next exam (tomorrow; the 30th) and the remaining three after that.
DID YOU KNOW...
...that as part of the "Last Bell" ceremony Grade 11 students are given a tiny bell pinned to a sash to wear?
...that Sonia has posted "Last Bell" pics online?
