NEW YEAR OF BLESSINGS!

Thank you to all who prayed for the Kolpino Christmas Outreach. It was a wonderful afternoon of getting acquainted, games, eating and sharing about the true meaning of Christmas. Approximately 300 people showed up in the courtyard in front of the rented church facility in Kolpino: kids of all ages, moms, dads and a lot of babushkas! After leading games with over a hundred of the most active participants (even some babushkas joined in!) I watched as the group listened to Pastor Vadim share about what Christ's birth really means to us. I overheard numerous people commit to attending the next church service. The crowd also enjoyed blini (Russian crêpes) with their choice of toppings (sour cream, condensed milk or jam), hot tea and plenty of sweet treats for all the kids and special prizes for the winners of the events. (By the way, the ladies of the church made over 600 pancakes for the event, all of which were quickly consumed!) What a wonderful blessing it was to be a part of this outreach! Thank you again for your prayers!!! We still have to find a home in Manitoba, a way to ship our belongings, a buyer or renters for our home, and much more! Please remember our needs in prayer. BLESSINGS — Praise God for the wonderful afternoon in Kolpino. Please remember Pastor Vadim and the church there, and pray that many who came to the Christmas program will attend the church services. — On Orthodox Christmas eve our family went door-to-door with home-baked goodies and Christmas greetings. We were overwhelmed by the positive response and the blessings that we received from our neighbours in return. PETITIONS — There are 20 days until the start of the winter conference! Please pray for our office staff as we work diligently on the remaining projects. Also pray that the remaining applications will arrive soon so that all may be made ready in time.
